The Okuma ITX Carbon spinning reel is built for durability. Lightweight and rigid C-40X long-strand carbon fiber in the body, sideplates, and rotor provides extra strength where it's needed most. The machined aluminum handle bolts directly to the spool for maximum security and consistency. The 7hpb + 1rb high-performance bearing system, along with a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear, ensures smooth operation in freshwater and inshore conditions. The machined aluminum 2-tone anodized spool is surrounded by Okuma's Cyclonic Flow Rotor system, which increases airflow through the ported rotor, shortening drying time and minimizing spool corrosion. The reel features a multi-disc carbon fiber drag system with hydroblock seals that keep water out and maintain smooth drag.
