Daiwa 23 Ninja Spin Reel – Daiwa's fishing reel is a very light, sensitive, and powerful reel. Thanks to the lightweight Airdrive rotor, the reel's balance is shifted from the front to the rear spool, resulting in better overall balance and increased sensitivity while fishing. The lure feel is better transferred and the reel responds more quickly. The precise and powerful Tough Digigear transmission ensures high holding power and smooth, quiet operation over long periods. The new Airdrive spool is also very light, very durable, and, in conjunction with the new iron handle, significantly reduces tangling during casting. If the line tangles in the iron handle, simply rotate the handle to slide it over the handle and onto the line reel, eliminating the need for intervention. The ATD Type-L brake releases the line without high starting resistance under load and provides excellent safety when casting a stock. The longcast ABS spool made of aluminum has an optimized casting edge, resulting in less friction and greater casting distance. The Twistbuster III construction on the spinning reel ensures that braided lines in particular are not pressed flat when winding and that fewer turns occur.
